An integrated design, programming and production system is critical for achieving smooth workflow. WH Williams' state-of-the-art technology for both design and production are from a single source. This is an important step in speeding up the evolution from idea to finished part without the need for any duplication.

Even the most complex sheetmetal parts are seamlessly handled, with potential problems highlighted prior to production using 3D models. Many file types can be imported into our system and stored on the computer network so if the same item is required again, it can be instantly located for manufacture or design modification. Customers are able to provide samples, sketches, templates, work instructions, hardcopy drawings or electronic files.

Great service to our customers is achieved by a customised integrated system of processing from the stage the order is placed, all the way through to delivery and invoicing. This allows all production orders to be tracked conveniently resulting in a smooth worklflow and shorter lead-times.

The most significant benefit of data integration is the ability to directory pass CAD information to our skilled operators to nest parts with the beat possible material yield. To maintain precision of parts throughout the manufacturing process, tool-specific data for bending is used when designing high tolerance pressings in our 3D platform. In highly complex cases it is possible to simulate the whole bending processes in order to eliminate any unforeseen problems. Additional assistance is provided for fabrication processes by generating isometric views.
