ERP PROJECT COMPLETED:We are excited to announce that the implementation of our new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is now complete.

The project required eight months of company-wide commitment which has finally resulted in a world-class solution that precisely fits the company's needs. After evaluating software from SAP, Microsoft and Oracle, the company decided on Microsoft Dynamics AX to replace the existing eight year old system which it had outgrown.

WH Williams was founded in 1948 by William Hyne Williams. An iron moulder by trade, William started manufacturing poultry equipment such as green feed cutters and water troughs. In 1950, his two sons, Bill and Harold joined the business. With further investment in machines such as guillotines, press brakes and welders, the business was then able to diversify into general sheetmetal work. Today the business is third generation Williams, with Harold and his son participating in a workforce of over fifty people. The current factory now stands adjacent to the original family home in Silverwater where the first stage of construction was simply an open shed with a dirt floor in the backyard.
